New Professional Doctorate in Human Performance & Innovation, UL, Sept 2021

The University of Limerick would like to announce the launch of the new Professional Doctorate in Human Performance and Innovation (4 years part-time, level 10 NFQ, 270 credits). This new, innovatively designed, practitioner oriented and accessible programme is targeted at professionals in the fields of sport, high level performance, physical activity behaviour and promotion related to health and education sectors. Those who join the programme will engage their professional practice and platform to drive, implement and evaluate beneficial innovations which will further enhance their working environment, the impact of their practice and serve their future career ambitions.

Doctoral candidates will be supported and guided by an international team of experts who have enormous collective experience, insights and skills to share.  In order to cater for industry needs, the personal programme of study will be individually  tailored, entirely flexible and accessible and delivered exclusively through e-learning modalities and online interaction. However, opportunities to meet face to face will be available and encouraged. This landmark and innovative programme which is a significant departure from traditional doctoral degrees, takes place within and is driven by the needs of the work environment and professional practice, is customised to current and future professional needs, will commence at the University of Limerick in September 2021.
