As part of the European Week of Sport (September 23rd to 30th), Sport Ireland Coaching, the Local Sport Partnership Network and the Sport Ireland Participation Unit are hosting the ICOACHKIDS Regional Coaching Conference 2024.
These conferences are designed specifically for coaches working with children and teenagers, providing the latest insights and practical tools so that coaches can create positive, meaningful experiences for young people in sport.
Sheelagh Quinn from Sport Ireland Coaching opens the conference with a discussion of the iCoachKids Pledge:
Declan O’Leary from Sport Ireland Coaching then provides an overview of the Youth Sport Compass:

PESS staff member Dr Phil Kearney then facilitates a discussion of practice strategies to bring the iCoachKids Pledge and Youth Sport Compass from page to practice.
