Research Assistant in  Physical Education and Sport and Exercise Sciences (PESS), University of Limerick.

Specific Purpose Contract – 1.0 FTE (0.8 FTE would be considered)

Salary Scale: €31,962 – €41,943 p.a. pro rata.

Under the guidance of the research centre Co-Directors, the role will support the research activities and lead initiatives within two of UL’s priority research centres: the Sport and Human Performance Research Centre (SHPRC), and Physical Education, Physical Activity and Youth Sport (PEPAYS) Ireland.

SHPRC: To advance interdisciplinary research in sport and human performance at the University of Limerick; to inform national and international best practice and through the creation of national and international collaborative networks; to achieve global recognition for the quality of its research outputs and graduate students.

PEPAYS Ireland: To develop a critical mass of researchers actively contributing to multi-disciplinary and multi-entity research that impacts policy and practice related to health and well-being of populations in the areas of physical education, sport, physical activity and health.
