The University of Limerick, in collaboration with an international research team, is conducting a study on the role of school uniforms as a barrier or enabler to engaging in physical activity.
Our international team is seeking input from principals and school management/leadership teams across Australia, Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, Malta, Cyprus, and Northern Ireland on factors affecting the successful implementation of physical activity-supporting policies – particularly allowing students to wear PE/sports uniform more frequently.
We’re asking principals and school leaders to:
- Complete a brief 15-minute survey,
- Share insights on school uniform policy,
- Help identify barriers, enablers, and benefits of activity-friendly uniforms.
Your participation in this survey will provide valuable insights into the prevalence of these policies and the challenges and opportunities related to their adoption.
