This years Physical Education Association of Ireland (PEAI) conference took place on the 13th and 14th October in Portlaoise, under the theme “Physical Education – The Way Forward”.
Some of the presentations delivered by PESS staff were:
- Reaching Senior Cycle framework learning outcomes through curriculum models: Adventure Education by Deborah Tannehill and Claire Walsh
- Lifetime physical activity for wellbeing by Daniel Tindall and Brendan O’ Keefe
- Reaching Senior Cycle framework learning outcomes through curriculum models: Teaching Personal & Social Responsibility by Deborah Tannehill and Missy Parker
A large representation of PESS staff and second, third and fourth year PE students, and first and second year PME students attended and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. Well done everybody, you are making a difference, see you next year!
