The PESS Department in conjunction with GEMS and SAH are hosting the annual Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine (FSEM) Spring Study Day on 23rd March 2018. Details of the event are included along with details of a morning event we are holding internally for Postgraduates to present their research in the format of a “Threesis”.
Both events provide postgraduate research students with an ideal opportunity to present and showcase their research in front of their academic peers. The deadline for submission of abstracts for these events is Thursday 1st March for the afternoon session and Wednesday 7th March for the morning session and are fast approaching.. I would encourage you to attend this combined event and encourage all Postgraduate researchers working in the area of Sport and Exercise Science and Medicine to submit abstracts to either the morning or afternoon session (or both!) as it is rare to have the opportunity to present research in a forum of this type locally.
For more information on the morning event for postgraduates please contact Dr Roisin Cahalan in the School of Allied Health via email roisin.cahalan@ul.ie.
