Keep Youngsters Involved: practical ways to prevent youth sport dropout

Keep Youngsters Involved consists of eight partners of the European Erasmus+Sport Programme (co-funded by the European Union) aiming to find answers to the question: ‘How can we prevent youngsters (age 12-19) from dropout from sport?’ Through a rapid review, the 14 most important factors to prevent dropout were identified. These factors became the base of a variety of practical tools and materials, suitable for use by sport professionals and volunteers (trainers, coaches) who work with youngsters all over the world.

On the 19th and 20th of September, nine members of the KYI team will meet in the Physical Education and Sport Sciences Department, University of Limerick to evaluate the project and discuss future dissemination of the practical tools and materials that were developed. Those attending the meeting in Limerick are listed on the table below.
