Research Impact: As supported by relevant publications, the self-made materials pedagogical approach encourages student participation, cooperative learning and inclusive practices in physical education. It can promote cross-curricular learning and value-based education. This article aims to expose its potential for teaching athletics in physical education by presenting an illustrated proposal with photographs of the self-made materials and pedagogical considerations for physical education teachers.
