Publication: The Relationship between Rowing Related Low Back Pain and Rowing Biomechanics: A Systematic Review

Summary: This systematic review examines the relationship between rowing related low back pain and rowing biomechanics involving the spine, pelvis and hips. It is one of five components which form part of a ‘2021 consensus statement for managing low back pain in elite and sub-elite rowers’. This project is a collaboration of international rowing expert researchers and clinicians; which is led by Dr. Fiona Wilson in Trinity College Dublin, and has been supported by the FISA Sports Medicine Commission.
