PEPAYS Ireland are delighted to announce that the PEPAYS Forum will take place at the University of Limerick, on Saturday, June 11th.The title of the forum is ‘(Re)connecting as a Community – Grand Challenges and Opportunities for Research and Practice’. This year’s Forum, the first since 2018, will be hosted by the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the University of Limerick.We welcome abstract submissions from the following research categories:
Applicants will have the option to present a poster or oral research presentation. Abstract submissions should not exceed 300 words and include the following components: title; aims/objectives; methods; results; and conclusions. The deadline for abstract submissions is Friday, May 13th at 5pm. Abstracts should be submitted at the following link: https://unioflimerick.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bg85XypkfCmeZ14 Format Descriptions Poster Sessions Researchers will share their research in poster format and time will be allocated for participants to speak individually with researchers about their research project. Poster Size: Posters size must be A1 (W59.4cm, H84.1cm) and must be presented in portrait format, keeping in mind that your poster will be viewed from a distance of more than three feet. Oral Research Presentations This type of presentation will be most appropriate to those who have completed a research project and wish to share key results with a wider audience (Master’s thesis, research project, undergraduate piece of research, postgraduate or postdoctoral work). Presentations will be 10 minutes followed by 3 minutes for questions. Important Dates:
