PESS Student Research Day – dr. brendan O’Keeffe.

We are delighted to announce that the Young Scientist Student Research Day will return this year, taking place in the PESS Department, UL on Thursday May 19th 2022.

This event showcases the work of post primary students who presented at either the BT Young Scientist exhibition or the PE XPO. Attendees will get the opportunity to participate in practical workshops on key research themes including sport pedagogy, exercise physiology, sport psychology and biomechanics. If you have a student(s) interested in attending on the day, please submit a 250 word summary of the students’ presentation topic to  Mary.hackett@ul.ie. The deadline for submissions is this Friday, May 6^th. Presentations will last 7 minutes. Note: All students who attend on the day must present a project as an individual or group and must be accompanied by a teacher/parent. Places are limited.
