We are thrilled to announce that Dr Karen Weekes will be our keynote speaker at this year’s PEPAYS Ireland forum. Karen has been an integral figure in the Physical Education Teacher Education community for some time and recently achieved the truly remarkable feat of becoming the first Irish woman to row solo across the Atlantic. We are very excited to hear about Karen’s journey, and how her research and practice helped her prepare and succeed. This year’s forum will also include key thematic presentations on the themes of Social Justice and Mapping Physical Activity, Physical Education, and Youth Sport Policies.
There is still time to submit your abstract, the deadline is this Friday, May 20th at 5pm.
