Congratulations to Dr. Antonio Calderon who has been selected as the Faculty of Education and Health Sciences winner of the UL Excellence in Teaching Award (individual). This is a wonderful achievement and reflects the high quality of Antonio’s teaching and innovative methods that he uses to engage with students. The EHS Faculty award panel highlighted that Antonio’s teaching included ‘excellent rapport, connection and student engagement with the use of digital technology; linking theory and curriculum design; and the commitment to continuous reflection and ongoing development of teaching by researching self and teaching methods’ .
Along with the other UL Faculty winners, Antonio will go forward to the overall UL competition which takes place later in the year.
