Publication: The what, how, where and when of resilience as a dynamic, episodic, self-regulating system: A response to Hill et al.(2018)

Research Summary Impact: In sport a seasons work is often narrowed down to a singular performance; the ability to buffer stress and persist in pressurised situations and on-going daily stressors is fundamental in any performing context, yet not well understood. With personal international sporting experience and funding thanks to U.L. Sport this article elaborates on what we understand about resilience and how it unfolds overtime to each specific adversity. The importance of developing specific resilience resources and self-regulatory processes is evident in preparation for both predictable and unforeseen adversities.
